Lee Bell sent a message to his players ahead of today’s (Tuesday, 7.45pm) trip to Morecambe: ‘Let’s get back to work’.
The Railwaymen have earned four consecutive wins since the turn of the year and climbed to fourth in the table.
Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Barrow was another highlight, as Crewe fought back from behind yet again.
But Manager Bell quickly focused on the next challenge against a Morecambe side that won at MK Dons last time out.
He said: “Those games have gone and we were quickly speaking about Morecambe who are a good team and just had a really good result.
“They lost a couple of players that have been on loan but they’ve regathered themselves by the looks of it, so we have to get back to work.”
The Shrimps’ success at Stadium:MK was their first in seven outings. Crewe have only lost one of the last 10 meetings between the sides.
