Lee Bell says he aims to bring in more players to boost his squad for the 2023-24 campaign.

Crewe Alexandra have made four additions this summer, with keeper Harvey Davies, defender Ryan Cooney, midfielder Jack Powell, and forward Shilow Tracey joining the ranks.

But the Manager says the recruitment drive is far from over.

Bell said: “I would like some more bodies in the building, but we have to be really creative with how we are going to do that.

“We are a few short at the minute so we will be looking to try to bring people in to add freshness and energy. I want to build a squad that can be competitive.

“We are not particularly close to doing anything, but I’m really pleased with some of the targets we have identified. We are working hard to attract the players we have highlighted.”
