Alex Morris has told the club’s official website that there is no point dwelling on missed out targets in the transfer window as there remains enough time to bring in more bodies to add depth to the squad.
The Alex boss moved quickly to bring in five new players this summer and a new loanee goalkeeper will be arriving early next month to provide the competition needed to challenge Dave Richards.
Alex told the club’s official website: “You can’t feel sorry for yourself when it comes to recruitment. You have to be resolute and resilient with the recruitment game because we were fully aware that we would be able to do our first few quite early on and then we were able to add Rod (McDonald) to that as well.
“We have had no real complications with any of them but you do get red lights with some along the way. That is only natural and can occur at whatever level you are at.
“We are all still working incredibly hard to get the players in we want but when you are after good players, other clubs are after good players and obviously there are a number of factors that come into it.
He added: “Everyone is working exceptionally hard to ensure that we get more bodies in before that first game.”
