Crewe Alexandra will be without defenders Kayne Ramsay, Travis Johnson and Donervon Daniels and midfielder Callum Ainley for the trip to Bolton Wanderers this evening.

All four players are making progress from their injuries, but are not expected to be back in contention before Christmas.

Daniels suffered a knee injury against Swindon Town in the FA Cup but his injury is not thought to be too serious.

Billy Sass-Davies is also away on International duty with Wales Under-21s and unavailable for selection.

Crewe are still aiming to claim their first away win in the league this season but were boosted by a first win in four games following a 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21s in the Papa John’s Trophy on Tuesday.
