Our thoughts are with the McMillan family at this sad time.

At the club’s last board meeting, the directors of Crewe Alexandra noted the sad passing of Jim McMillan and paid tribute to his outstanding contribution over many years.

Jim joined the Crewe Alexandra board in January 1980 and later became a trustee of the Alexandra Soccer Centre in Shavington.

Jim was an avid fan of Crewe Alexandra and made a telling contribution as a director over almost 40 years.

His dedication to the football club and his desire to bring good humour to almost anything will be greatly missed by everyone at Crewe Alexandra.
