David Artell has admitted that it has been something of a ‘mixed bag’ from his Crewe Alexandra side in the last two away games at Macclesfield and Scunthorpe.
Crewe Alexandra return to Gresty Road tomorrow evening to host Leyton Orient hoping to get back to winning ways after two away draws.
Following the 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe, Artell told the club’s official website: “It has been a mixed bag from us in the last two away games. We have played some really good stuff and not some good stuff.
“We have not played as well as we would like in the first half of both games and a draw was a fair result on Saturday.
“At Macclesfield we may have go on and won the game in the second half but we didn’t quite do enough. The first half has cost us the two points there.
He added: “How we are back at home and have to get back to winning ways and not be content with a draw. It doesn’t matter if it is home, away or on the moon we want the three points.”
