Crewe Alexandra are pleased to announce that defender Michael Nottingham has signed a loan extension at the Alexandra Stadium.

The towering defender has put pen-to-paper on an extension until the completion of the current season.

Nottingham has been in fine form for the Alex since his arrival from Blackpool in January. Crewe have lost just once with Nottingham in the side and the 31-year-old has formed an impressive partnership with Luke Offord in the heart of the Alex defence.

The Blackpool loanee scored his first Crewe goal in the 1-1 draw with Exeter in the penultimate game before the suspension of the EFL season and he will now stay at Gresty Road until the end of the 2019/20 season.
