Crewe Alexandra chairman John Bowler has thanked the club’s supporters for the incredible encouragement and loyalty they have shown during the coronavirus outbreak.

Bowler and newly appointed vice chairman of the club, Charles Grant, provided a Zoom led interview for the fans to view and in his closing address, the chairman wished to express his sincere thanks to the fans.

John said: “I must say a huge thank you to all our supporters for all the encouragement they have shown us. They have again supported us in numbers. They have still bought their season tickets at this difficult time and they won’t be disadvantaged once we know what the programme is going to be.

“I hope they are pleased with what is happening at the football club. It is a community club run by local people and we would all like to thank them for the tremendous support they have shown us.”
