Crewe Alexandra midfielder Tom Lowery was a late withdrawal from the substitutes’ bench for Saturda's game against Crawley after he suffered a slight ankle injury in the warm-up. Lowery was immediately withdrawn from the squad as a precaution and was replaced in the 18 by Alex Nicholls.

The Holmes Chapel youngster, who was excellent when coming off the bench at Cambridge United on the Tuesday night, is not expected to miss too much training after treatment.
