Lunt: "Market Is Fairly Quiet But We Would Move If Right One Came Along Again"

6 June 2019

Kenny Lunt appreciates that the transfer market remains relatively quiet at the moment but he assures supporters that the club will move if the right player and character comes along.

The club have already added centre-half, Olly Lancashire, to our ranks and Lunt says that movement is likely to occur later on in the pre-season.

Lunt told the club’s official website: “The market is quiet but it tends to be at this time of the year. People are away and players are holding out for as long as possible.

“Saying that, if we can get them in then we would, like we have done with Olly Lancashire. If the right player comes along who we think can improve us then we do everything we can to get it over line.

“If we think they would come in and help us then we would move quickly. All you can do is wait and see and then when we get another one in, we can see what else we need.”
