Boss says there will be movement both in and out during January window.

David Artell has told the club’s official website that he will definitely be bringing in new faces during the January transfer window.

The Alex boss lost out on one of his targets last week, but he says that he is closing in on other potential players.

Artell told crewealex.net: “There will definitely be players coming in during the window. I expect there will be movement both in and out.

“We lost out on one this week but we have other irons in the fire and we are constantly working on it.

“I wish the lad had come to us than gone elsewhere but that is football. That’s life and you just get on with it. You will always miss out on potential players.

“It could have been conducted better on both sides but that is football. You win some, you lose some and you have quickly move on.”
