David Artell says he is pleased that his Crewe Alexandra side have shown that they can mix-and-match it with anybody in League Two. The Crewe boss says that his side’s recent run that has now stretched to six games unbeaten is a terrific achievement and he believes that his team can cope with all styles of play.
David told us: “To have the results we have had over the last couple of months is a terrific achievement and we have to keep it going for as long as we can. We have beaten MK Dons away and the likes of Colchester and Lincoln at home.
“We have beaten a physical side in Carlisle on Tuesday night. Stevenage were physical and we managed to win that one just days after beating Lincoln. That was one of the most pleasing things about that result. The players coped with playing two games in a short space of time and won them both.
“We managed to get a great three points against Carlisle because I said it before the game and afterwards, they are a very good team.
“We have coped with different styles and been really good in our recent spell. We have to keep it going and look for another three points this weekend at Oldham.”
