Loan Watch 👀: Offord Keeps Clean Sheet On Witton Debut

20 February 2019

Crewe Alexandra defender Luke Offord made a winning start to his spell at Witton Albion on Tuesday night, having only penned his one-month loan deal on Monday.

Offord played 90 minutes of Albion's 2-0 win away at Workington to move up to 11th in the Evo Stik Premier Division.

Michael Raynes missed Hartlepool's 4-0 victory at Boreham Wood on Saturday & 0-0 stalemate at Ebbsfleet on Tuesday with an achillies injury that is expected to keep the experienced defender out for eight weeks.

A late goal for Nantwich Town rescued a 1-1 draw for them at home to Scarborough, with goalkeeper Will Jaaskelainen playing the full 90 minutes.

Into the National League North, Billy Sass-Davies helped FC United of Manchester end their losing run to come from behind to draw 3-3 with Guiseley.

Josh Lundstram too played the full match for Nuneaton, but they lost again at the foot of the table thanks to two second half goals by Spennymoor Town.

Lewis Reilly's Curzon Ashton were finally beaten after a superb eight match unbeaten run, Lewis playing 67 minutes of the 2-0 loss to Brackley Town.
