David Artell is hoping that the Crewe Alexandra supporters will make incredible noise once again to help us get over the line and into round three of the FA Cup this evening. Crewe host Eastleigh at Gresty Road in tonight's FA Cup replay and Artell says that the club support will once again play a key role if we are going to get through a tricky cup tie.

Ahead of this evening’s replay at the Alexandra Stadium, Artell said: “Our fans have been brilliant for us, both at home and away. They were brilliant down there (Eastleigh). They sang all night.

“We were taking great numbers to Macclesfield again on Saturday and they would have packed in behind that goal again.

“We need our crowd behind us like they have been all season. They can play their part for us. I hope they have their singing voices. I hope their Christmas preparations have gone well and they are stress free and can use their vocal chords to help us.

“I hope they will come to the stadium in great numbers again and cheer us on.”
