Charlie Kirk has become a real match winner for Crewe Alexandra this season with his goals and assists and boss David Artell says that the extra maturity the 20-year-old has shown has been top drawer from the winger.
The Winsford-based youngster has scored two goals in wins over Morecambe and Macclesfield and tops our assists table with three key contributions for others.
Artell has been delighted with the former Academy graduate: “Charlie has been terrific for us this season and he has become a real handful for the opposition with his assists and goals. He has had to get to that level.
“It has taken him a while for him to get to this point but he has matured massively over the last 12 months. He has made a right good fist of it.
The boss added: “He still has some way to go but if he develops at the same rate over the next 12 months, then we will one hell of a player.”
