Crewe Alexandra will host Fleetwood Town in the 2018/19 Carabao Cup First Round.

The Alex lost out at the first round stage last season, going down 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers at Gresty Road despite dominating the contest.

Manager Dave Artell has gone on record saying a good cup run is important for this Club after a number of disappointing early cup exits in recent years.

The match will be played week commencing 13 August, with match & ticket information released in due course.
