"We Would Move If A Good Player Became Available"

4 January 2018

David Artell has told the club’s official website that he will not hesitate to bring in a new player during the January transfer window if he believes it will improve his team. The Alex boss recently allowed Conor Grant and Sam Stubbs to return to their parent clubs after their loan agreements expired.

Artell is targeting new reinforcements for the second half of the campaign and he has revealed that he will act if the right player comes along, regardless of how his returning players, Ryan Wintle, George Ray and James Jones are doing.

Artell told “If a player becomes available who we feel will improve us then we will do everything we can to bring them in.

“It doesn’t matter about those coming back from injury because we don’t want to potentially miss out on good players if they are available.”
