Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has suggested that he may look to rotate his squad to cope with the hectic Christmas and New Year period. The Railwaymen have four games in a short space of time starting with a trip to Forest Green Rovers this weekend and the Alex boss says that he may look to freshen things up depending on how things go.
Artell told crewealex.net: “There are many factors to consider, such as games played at a high tempo or the physicality of the games. We will look at their stats and check how they are but I have not mapped out the next four games because anything can happen.
“I am only thinking ahead to Forest Green. When we get to Boxing Day and Stevenage then it may have changed because of the demands on the players but we will look at everything that may affect them.”
