Alex Receive Boost Over Green Injury

31 August 2018

After undergoing a MRI scan last week, the club have received some good news in regards to Paul Green.

The experienced midfielder suffered a serious knee injury in a 50/50 collision with the Carlisle United goalkeeper Joe Fryer and it was feared that he will miss the remainder of the season.

The scan has thankfully shown that he has not suffered a severe rupture of the knee and although he will have to remain in a brace for 12 weeks, it is hoped that he will be return to action in the New Year.

It is a boost for the Football Club who have also lost the promising youngster Harry Pickering with Grade 3 hamstring strain.
