Crewe without trio for the visit of Chesterfield.

Crewe Alexandra will be without long-term absentee’s defender George Ray (back) and James Jones (pelvis) for our home game against Chesterfield this weekend.  

On-loan midfielder Conor Grant is unavailable for selection after suffering concussion against Grimsby Town last weekend. The 22-year-old from Everton will be assessed ahead of the visit of Cambridge United on Tuesday night, but he may not risked by the club after such a traumatic injury.

Crewe remain hopeful that Tom Lowery will be available for selection following his neck injury. The midfielder joined in with today’s final session.
