Kenny says management team will do everything in their power to improve team for next season.

Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager Kenny Lunt has stated that he and manager David Artell are excited about plotting the club’s future after securing the club’s League Two status with three games to spare. The Alex host Barnet this weekend to climax a season that saw us as high as third in the EFL League Two table and Lunt says the staff will be working hard over the summer to improve the team.

Kenny told crewealex.net: “It is exciting to be involved and to plot what we want to do going forward. It is new to me and Dave but this is what we wanted and it is really exciting.

“We are still learning and I’m sure we will learn a lot about recruitment this summer. We want to improve as a management team and we want to improve the team. If we can do that then we will see where that can take us.

The club's assistant added: “We have a lot of faith in the players here but we would also like to strengthen in certain positions as well. We will look to get better than what we have got. If we can add two or three players, may be one or two with some experience than that will help us. We will give it everything we have got to make that happen.”
