Cheshire Final To Take Place on Wednesday 5th April at Gresty Road
Crewe Alexandra will play our near neighbours Nantwich Town in the final of the Cheshire F.A. Senior Challenge Cup at Gresty Road. The final will be taking place on Wednesday 5th April with a kick-off time of 7.45pm and Alex Morris’ side will be aiming to win the competition for the first time since 2003.
Crewe booked their place in the final with an emphatic 4-0 win at Hyde United, whilst Nantwich defeated Warrington Town 5-3 on penalties after their semi-final had ended goalless after extra-time.
Phil Parkinson’s Dabbers could have the former Crewe players, Steve Jones, Joe Howell, Andy White and Sean Cooke in their squad. Crewe Alexandra’s former midfielder Neil Sorvel is also assistant manager to Parkinson.
It is pay on the turnstiles on the night and only the Main Stand will be open.
