Crewe Alexandra Football would like to congratulate Sky Sports presenter and charity fundraiser Jeff Stelling, cricketer Dominic Cork and a number of walkers for completing the 5th leg of his marathon walk at the Alexandra Stadium last night.
Jeff and his team started at the Bet 365 Stadium yesterday morning and made their way to South Cheshire via Vale Park to raise funds and awareness of Men United. Jeff is aiming to help raise a considerable sum for the Prostate Cancer UK charity and he has moved on to Chester today before finishing at Goodison Park this evening.
Jeff is aiming to walk an amazing 15 marathons over 15 days and we would like to thank all the Crewe fans who took part in the walk yesterday and came and supported them at last night’s finish line. It was a fantastic achievement in appalling weather conditions.
