Assistant Lunt says club are still after a couple of back players and a midfielder.
Crewe Alexandra’s assistant manager Kenny Lunt has updated us on the progress being made on more incoming players. The Alex have already signed strikers Jordan Bowery and Chris Porter as well as the former Carlisle United defender Michael Raynes this closed season and now Lunt has reiterated that progress is being made with more potential targets.
The club’s assistant says that focus is now on defenders and midfielders to supplement the players we already have here.
Lunt told the club’s official web-site: “We are still looking for a couple of back players and a couple of midfielders. We are also looking for our younger players and the ones we have contracted here to push on and try to get in the team on a regular basis.
“We have been working on finding the players we need for months. We have a list to work through and although we won’t be revealing any names, we know the types we are targeting.”
