David Artell says that this weekend’s opponents Cheltenham Town will possess a ‘bit of everything’.
The Alex travel to Whaddon Road aiming to extend their mini-run away from home to three without defeat and the Crewe boss is expecting another tough encounter against Gary Johnson’s side.
“Cheltenham will be like a lot of teams in this league. They will have a bit of everything, ‘said David.
“They will have the height and physicality but they will also have some quality and will hope to cause us problems. A Gary Johnson side always have a strong work ethic and will be disciplined in their shape.
“They have beaten Mansfield, the title favourites in the summer, 3-0 so that says it all really. We have beaten Notts County 2-0 as well, so we know that we have to be at it.
“We will know what to expect and I would back my players against anyone and I’m sure Gary will be thinking the same thing. It should be a tough game and our first objective will be to keep a clean-sheet, like we did in what was one of my first games in charge last season.”
