The Alex host a County side still riding the crest of a wave after last season’s dramatic fight against survival that saw the Club stage a miraculous fight-back to stay in League Two on the final day of the season.
Both sides started the campaign with draws last weekend, County hitting an injury-time leveller at Stevenage for a 3-3 draw whilst The Alex resulted 2-2 with Mansfield.
County progressed to Round Two of the Carabao Cup with victory over Southend in midweek, whilst Bolton Wanderers saw to Crewe by a 2-1 margin.
