David Artell has told the club’s official web-site that he expects another tough home encounter against Rossi Eames this weekend. The Crewe Alexandra boss has been impressed by Barnet’s start to the new season having already beaten one of the favourites for promotion Luton Town last weekend.

Crewe have drawn their opening two league games against Mansfield and Newport County and the Alex boss is after all three points against the Bees this weekend to really kick start our league campaign.

Artell told crewealex.net: “I don’t really look at the table or know where we are never mind where Barnet are. It is very early days but I know they have made a decent start to the season. They are a decent team and have decent players.

“Rossi likes his teams to play and they can mix it with the best of them as well. We will have to match them and then make sure that our football takes over. We will have to cope with everything they throw at us.”
