Steve hopes performances and results will attract bigger crowds to Gresty Road.

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis is hoping that his side’s performances can entice some of the club’s lost supporters back to the Alexandra Stadium. The Alex host Blackpool this weekend aiming to secure their fourth straight league win and maintain their promising start to the new season.

Ahead of our home encounter with the Seasiders, Steve said: “All I can do as a manager is to try and make sure that the team performs as well they can. If those fans choose to come back and support us then that is great.

“I want to build a team that the fans enjoy coming to watch and I think they have seen some decent stuff this season. I want those fans that do come to the Stadium to get behind us and enjoy their match day.

“If we can do that and we can continue to pick up results, then hopefully more will want to come and support the club. “
