The Crewe boss told crewealex.net: “I do know believe that we have goals in this team. Ryan and Daggers have 11 goals already. Alex chipped in with four goals before he was injured and Cooper has scored four as well.

“James Jones has also scored a couple and has that freedom to get forward and into the opposition box more often. If he does that then he will get his fair share of goals. If we can continue to load the box with players then those chances will come.

The boss added: “We have had players getting on the end of things more this season and it’s their responsibility to do that and give us a chance in games.”
