Dagnall signed a two-year deal yesterday and he is set to form a new partnership with fellow Liverpudlian Ryan Lowe.

Chris told the club’s official web-site: “As a player you don’t particularly enjoy this time of year but you do look forward to the games. I have a bit of catching up to do with the other players because they have been back in training for a week.

“I enjoy the pre-season games and it is always beneficial for your match fitness. Wolves coming to Crewe will be a great early test for us and it will be nice to play against such a good side.

Chris added: “It will be great to play at the Stadium and say hello to everyone. I’m looking forward to it.”

Crewe Alexandra face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday 15th June. Kick off is 7.30pm and tickets are available now priced at £10 for adults, £5 seniors and £2 for juniors.
