Tom Hitchcock is back at Crewe and is determined to see his goals see us safe.

Last night, Crewe Alexandra swooped to sign MK Dons striker Tom Hitchcock on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful month's loan at The Alex in December 2013, notching three goals in six appearances, helping The Alex to a run of 11 points from a possible 18 and the striker is hoping he can make a similar impact this time around.

Hitchcock has exclusively told Crewe Alex PlayerHD: “It is great to back at Crewe and hopefully it can be as good as it was last time when I managed to score some goals and assist in a few as well.

“I want to come here and help out. I am really focussed and positive about it. I know what the club is about and everyone has helped me settle in again quickly.

“I have a good relationship with the manager. He has kept in touch with me and sent me a few texts and it is something you appreciate as a player. We get on well and I want to repay the faith he has shown in me.

“I want to score the goals to keep Crewe where they belong and that is in this league.”

Tom will wear the number 36 shirt for his second spell with the Club.
