U18s Win Three On The Spin

A 1-0 victory over bogey-side Birmingham City made it three wins on the spins for Kenny Lunt’s Under 18’s, moving them to top spot in the U18 PDL2 table after Sheffield United’s slip-up.

A Lewis Reilly penalty 25 minutes from time proved enough to gain all three points against the Blues, though the Alex’s dominance merited a more handsome score line.

The team have one final 2016 fixture against Hull City, taking place today, before the winter break. Looking to maintain top spot for Christmas, the next match comes on January 7 at Nottingham Forest.
