Crewe could get any one of SEVEN North West Clubs
The regional groups and draw numbers have been decided ahead of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Second Round Draw, live on Soccer AM from 10am on Saturday morning.
The Alex are in the North West regional group and could face any one of seven teams, home or away, in a one-off straight knockout tie, to be decided on the night in normal time or by penalty kicks.
Crewe received an automatic bye in Round One and could come up against just one League Two team, Morecambe, in the second round with fixtures against Wigan, Shrewsbury, Bury, Blackpool, Fleetwood and Port Vale also a possibility.
The second round matches are set to be played week commencing 5th October.
