Striker to be assessed after representing Canada.

Marcus Haber has returned to training today after representing Canada in their International friendly with Ghana in Washington. Haber played the first 45 minutes as Canada drew 1-1 in the United States and he flew back to the United Kingdom yesterday.

The forward will be assessed in today’s final session as Steve Davis finalises his squad for tomorrow’s game against Gillingham.

The Alex boss told the club’s official web-site: “Marcus flew back yesterday and in this morning, so we will assess how he is.

"He played 45 minutes so the physical side of playing in the game will not be a problem, it is the fatigue he can feel with all travelling he has to do and the training in between the matches.

“We will assess how he is in the final session before we decide whether to involve him tomorrow. “
