Crewe tie up the last of our Academy graduates
Toby Mullarkey has become the latest Academy graduate to sign professional terms with the club. The 18-year-old defender has followed his fellow team-mates Andre Brown, Liam O’Neill, Joe Kearns and Joe Howell by signing a one-year deal with a year option.
The centre-half has been with Crewe Alexandra since the age of 10 and has progressed through the Academy ranks to become an integral part of the club’s Under-18s, Under-21s and the successful Youth Team. Mullarkey played a key role in seeing Alex Morris’ Youth team reach the quarter-final stage of the FA Youth Cup.
