Waters penalty but Leeds run-out victors

Crewe Alexandra Under 21's lost 2-1 at home to Leeds United in their latest PDL fixture this afternoon despite holding a half-time advantage.

Billy Waters stroked The Alex into the lead from the penalty spot in the seventh minute, but the visitors drew level two minutes after the break with a well converted shot.

The goalkeeping trialist felled the Leeds striker on 83 minutes to give the visitors the chance to seal all three points and it was dispatched with aplomb to leave the U21's without a win in their last six games.
