Steve Davis says move North shows how much new midfielders wanted to come here
Steve Davis says that the decision to move North proves that his two summer signings Billy Bingham and loanee Adam King really shows that they mean business. Bingham has signed on a two-year deal after leaving London and his previous club Dagenham, whilst 19-year-old King has agreed to move up from Swansea on a six-month loan agreement.
The Alex boss is delighted to have got his summer recruitment up and running with two of his main targets agreeing to move to the Alexandra Stadium this week.
Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We wanted to balance things out with permanent and loan signings if we could and we have managed to do that with the two midfielders this week.
“We wanted good footballers, who would come here and make a difference to us and fit into our system and the way we want to play.
“The two lads have shown that commitment. They are prepared to move up here to the area and that shows that they mean business. They are focussed on their football and want to come here, so well and show everyone what they are about.
“They have both shown a really positive attitude and I’m sure they are going to be great to work with. “
