Guthrie back training with only Tootle and Atkinson missing

Crewe Alexandra’s treatment room only has club captain Matt Tootle (ankle) and midfielder Chris Atkinson (knee)currently in it.

Tootle has worn a protective boot on his ankle this week to take some pressure off his injury and allow it to heal properly, while Atkinson has not featured since jarring his knee in the warm up before the MK Dons clash at Gresty Road.

Defender Jon Guthrie who suffered a knee injury at Notts County is back in light training and should return to full training at the beginning of next week.

Winger Ryan Colclough played 45 minutes against Coventry City Under-21s on Wednesday as part of his recovery from a long standing injury. Colclough will continue to improve his match fitness with the Development group after missing the past 15 months with a hip and hernia injury.

Everyone else came through Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Yeovil unscathed and are available for selection.
