Crewe To Name Strong Side At Macc

24 February 2015

Fit again Guthrie, Atkinson and Colclough in line to play at Moss Rose this evening

Crewe Alexandra will be naming a strong side for tonight’s Cheshire Senior Cup at Macclesfield. The quarter-final at Moss Rose kicks off at 7.45pm and the likes of Brad Inman and the fit again Jon Guthrie and Chris Atkinson will also be given the chance to impress.

Club goalkeeper Paul Rachubka will also been given some game time, as will the fit-again youngster Ryan Colclough.

It will be only be the forward’s second game after his recent return against Coventry City’s Under-21s. He played 45 minutes as he continued his return from a hip and hernia problem.

Lauri Dalla Valle will not feature this evening as he is still struggling with a bruised hip that he sustained at Doncaster Rovers last Tuesday evening.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for seniors and U-18s and £1 for U-12s.

A superb solo goal from Brad Inman finally broke 1874 Northwich resistance at Gresty Road in the first round. Macclesfield needed extra-time to overcome Hyde United at the same stage.

Macclesfield will be offering a free hot drink voucher in their match programme for tonight's game. The programme costs £2 but you can redeem the voucher at the tea bars.
