Steve Davis has told the club’s official web-site that new loan signing Semi Ajayi has benefitted from having time to work out on the training ground.

Steve told crewealex.net: “We have had some time to work with the players and Semi has benefitted from that. I have been able to do some defending with him and that has helped the relationship with Ben and the others in the back four.
“He has been able to get to know the other players and settle in. He wants to come here and play well and he made a good start against Oldham on his debut.
“It is always difficult making your debut for a new club. All eyes are on you and how you perform and he played well and helped us to a clean-sheet.
“There is a touch of adrenaline that comes with that, especially when you are in front of the home fans but we want him to carry that on now and keep performing.”
