Virtual Academy side narrowly lose at Millwall
Alex Morris took a young and inexperienced side, filled mainly with U18 players, to Millwall and narrowly lost out 1-0 against their formidable opponents.Fixture congestion with the Crewe first team playing that same Tuesday evening and an U18 fixture the following day gave the whole Alex contingent a selection headache.
The run of three matches in 24 hours proved tricky, but the young 'U21' side Morris took to London put in a brave effort and lost out after an early goal by the hosts.
