Febian Brandy major doubt for Colchester visit
Crewe Alexandra’s loan signing Febian Brandy is rated as a major doubt for the visit of Colchester United tomorrow after failing to shake off a calf strain.
Brandy made his debut as a second half substitute against the MK Dons last weekend but complained of tightness in his calf muscle.
Head physiotherapist Rob Sharp says that Brandy was suffering a problem with a nerve that has been affecting the muscle.
Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Febian has a problem with his calf and he is unlikely to feature against Colchester United. He also looks unlikely to be ready for Notts County on Tuesday evening but should be okay for the weekend after.
“It is very unfortunate for Febian and for us because we had got him in to play and help us up and to not have him available is disappointing.”
