Steve Davis pleased with home draw if we manage to get through Sheffield replay.

Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site that as soon as the televised draw was made he instantly thought of our former player Kelvin Mellor, who moved to Home Park in the summer.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “I watched the draw and was glad we got a home draw if we get through against Sheffield United. That is all you can ask for and I’m sure Cloughie (Nigel Clough) will be thinking the same as us.

“We have a tough game at Sheffield United, we know that but we will do our best to get through and then worry about Plymouth.

“When the draw was made I instantly thought of Kelvin. I am sure he would have had a grin on his face when they came out of the hat. It would nice to see him and for him to come back to his hometown club, but we have Sheffield United first.”
