Inman and Grant To Train

4 March 2014

Things looking better from the treatment room

Bradden Inman and Anthony Grant are expected to train today after receiving knocks against Swindon Town at the weekend. Inman had to be withdrawn after just half an hour after suffering a hefty knock on his hip bone. New loan signing Cameron Park was handed his Crewe debut in the 1-1 draw with Mark Cooper’s side.

Grant sustained a foot injury and didn’t train yesterday, but the combative midfielder is expected to resume training today.

Fellow midfielders George Evans and Abdul Osman are also set to resume training on Thursday.

Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Brad received a knock on his hip and that was sore. It caused him a lot of discomfort and he had to come off. He didn’t train yesterday but he wants to train in the session today and see how it goes. He wants to give it a go.

“Anthony is the same, he didn’t train yesterday but he will train today. I have also given those who have played a lot of games in a short space of time, a day off. During the week I’m sure we will three or more back in contention.

“We have had an excellent record of having players fit in the time I’ve been here. It has never been a problem and it is the first time we have had so many at once.”
