Brad To Be Assessed By Newcastle

Midfielder to turn to his parent club for a period after ankle injury

Crewe Alexandra’s on-loan midfielder Bradden Inman has returned to his parent club Newcastle United to have his ankle injury assessed. The Scotland Under-21 International will be assessed by Newcastle’s medical team over the next week after previously suffering a ligament injury on the same ankle in the past.

Steve Davis told the club’s official web-site: “Brad has had a little set back with his ankle and he has returned to Newcastle to be assessed. They have asked to have a look at him because he has had past ligament injury on the same ankle. It is nothing too serious.

“Newcastle is his club and we respect that. They will be in close contact with Rob (Sharp, the club’s physio) and they want to be on safe side, which is fine.

“Brad has done really well for us and fitted in really well. When he is ready to come back, he will be back with us. He is determined to play in the last quarter of the season and be involved in the trip to Wembley.”
