Cornwall Will Be Change Of Scene

20 June 2013

Steve on the club's trip to the South Coast

Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis says a short break away in Cornwall as part of our pre-season plans will be beneficial to the players. The Alex boss took the squad on a team building exercise at an Army Camp in Wiltshire last summer, but he has chosen to go further south this time and has incorporated a friendly against Truro.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “We have finalised a few days away in Cornwall to have a change of environment in the pre-season. It will be good to have a change of scene, and get a few days of hard training under our belts.

“It is nice and relaxed down. It will give us a chance to really focus on the work, away from everything and then we will play Truro on the Friday night before we come back.

“Hopefully we might get some nice weather down there and it will be good to get the group together like we did last year. Hopefully we will have two or three new faces by then as well so they can integrate into the group.”
