Aneke happy to return to Crewe and hopefully help us to success
Chuks Aneke has told crewealex.net that he ‘can’t wait to get back playing again’ after returning to Crewe on loan until the end of the season. The Arsenal youngster re-joined Crewe on deadline day and is set to involved against Scunthorpe United this weekend. The 19-year-old has already shown his potential with us, scoring six goals and providing numerous assists as well.
Aneke briefly returned to his parent club to discuss his future with the North London side and he appreciates that it is in his best interest to continue to get regular first-team football at Gresty Road.
On signing until the end of the season, Chuks told the club’s official web-site: “It was really good to come back in today and see everyone again. I just can’t wait to start playing again and get in the team.
“I had to go back to Arsenal to sort a few things out there. I have obviously been away for a while so I had to see what was happening there, but I am really happy to be back here now and can’t wait to play some games.
Chuks added: “My first spell here went really well and I managed to chip in with some important assists and score some goals, so hopefully I can have more of the same and keep on playing quite a bit of football at a good level.”
