First-team squad make a visit to the hospital

This afternoon saw the entire Crewe Alexandra first-team squad make a trip to Leighton Hospital to visit the Children’s Ward. Boss Steve Davis assembled his squad with one mission at the hospital, to deliver plenty of presents!

The Alex squad footballers brought smiles to the faces of sick children who are spending the festive period in hospital, with boss Davis happy to help out.

Steve told crewealex.net: “We are always happy to help out with events in the community, so it was great to get down to the hospital and see some smiling faces.

“It is good for the lads to see that they are bringing some cheer to people so it was a great afternoon for everybody.”
