Steve Davis says he is very close to agreeing his new contract

Davis, who led the club to promotion in his debut season said: "I am very close with the contract. The new copy is in the hands of the solicitor and it is just  a question of looking over it and putting pen-to-paper which I am very pleased about."

Steve Davis has told the club's official web-site that is close to agreeing his new contract with the club. Davis says it is just a question of going over the up-dated contract before he commits his future to Crewe Alexandra.
