Aneke, Inman and LDV can feature in both cup ties

Crewe Alexandra’s trio of loan signings Lalla Dalla Valle, Chuks Aneke and Bran Inman are all eligible to play in the club’s forthcoming cup matches against Burton Albion in the FA Cup and Doncaster Rovers in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.

Steve Davis has hinted that he may make a few changes to cover both cup ties but is eager to progress in both competitions with the attraction of a third round draw in the FA Cup and a potential Northern Section semi-final in the Football League Trophy.

Steve told the club’s official web-site: “All our loan players are able to play in the cup games. It was one of the conditions before we took them in on loan. They can play in both cup ties and we are grateful to their clubs for coming to that agreement.

“They have come here to play and all players want to play in cup games, especially the FA Cup but I may look to give one or two a rest and give others an opportunity.”
